Spring 2008: I had already taken Time Studio in AFO here at VCU. My class sucked, no one seemed to come together and work on projects with each other let alone talk as a whole. I didn’t like the class too much. It was an 845-1145, so I decided to sleep in some days bc I never really looked forward to going.
Summer 2008: a whole different story. Unlike before, I actually enjoyed coming to this class and working on the projects. I learned a lot about making art online that I hadn’t known before. Yea, I own a Mac, but never really messed around w the iMovie or iDVD features before. Coming out of this class I have so much more knowledge of that, which is pretty darn cool. I used to procrastinate so much in the Spring semester, but I’ve learned through these projects and having to get them in on time, that it’s better to get them in when everyone else does than to show late work. I liked how our class was able to communicate as a whole and everyone seemed to get along very well. It was also nice to meet some other people who were going into the same major as I will be this fall. As for missing the fact that I had to commute every monday and wednesday…I will not miss havin to spend the absurd amount of money it is to buy gas these days to get here. I’ll miss the class though, it’s been fun.

the lipdubs aren’t due tomorrow, are they?
The 3 lipdubs are your final project. I expect to see them on the last day of class. Tomorrow we need to get DVDs burned of what you’ve done so far in the class.
That’s what I thought. I was just double checking to make sure. Sounds good. Thanks
the lipdubs aren’t due tomorrow, are they?
It feels like it should be Thursday or Friday. It’s only Tuesday. I spent the day stocking frames at Michaels arts and crafts store, where I work. Rant: I don’t work in the frame dpt, therefore I don’t know where any of the frames go…there was another girl working who was on the floor today, stockin shelves, which is usually what I do, yet…I was doing what she shoulda/coulda been doing. Got on my nerves. Most of the people I work with get on my nerves. Our manager just announced that he’s moving to FL…this Saturday is his last day. We’re throwing down at my co-worker’s house Saturday night, so that should be fun/maybe a lil’ awkward. Partying with the former boss? He’s way chill tho, so it shuldnt be that bad. lol I can’t wait til the 4th. My friends and I are going tubing down the James River. As much as I love this class and the projects we do, I can’t wait til it’s over, only because I’m spending 50 some of my dollars a week to get to VCU from Charlottesville roundtrip. That kills the checking account. I gotta start saving. I need to purchase a new Macbook screen since the one that is still currently attatched to another monitor is still broken bc my sister accidently sat on it at a party….ahhh and then I have to figure out what materials I will be needing for the Interior Design, stuff for the fall. soooooo much to do. And on top of it all… I have yet to find a place to live. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! let’s see I have a MONTH to do that. A tent in Monroe Park or chillin w the homeless would not be cool. neither would commuting from here to there til I find a place to live. I’ll get on that within the next few weeks. Wish me luck. Sooo much stuff going on right now. It’s late, maybe I’ll write about my oh-so-exciting life later. blah -B
